Alison Hassall

I am a clinical psychology PhD candiate at the Australian National University. My PhD focuses on the affective quality of the caregiver-child relationship in kinship and foster care, and its association with child behavioural and emotional adjustment. Additionally, I aim to expore the unique experiences and stressors of kinship families, and how this compares to foster families. I have clinical experience working with vulnerable children and families which has further strengthened my interest in early intervention and the caregiver-child relationship.
