Dr. Genevieve Heard is Senior Researcher at Relationships Australia (RA) Victoria where, among other projects, she has jointly managed a national study investigating outcomes of RA Family Dispute Resolution services. Genevieve has a background in social demography. She has worked in Demography at the Australian Bureau of Statistics and at the Centre for Population and Urban Research at Monash University, where she completed her doctorate in 2007. Genevieve’s previous research has focused on changing patterns of family formation, and particularly on socioeconomic differentials in partnering and fertility. She has authored numerous papers on this subject and is co-editor of Family Formation in 21st Century Australia (Springer, 2015).
