Amanda McCue

Amanda is a career practitioner who works primarily in private practice with Australia's military community. Amanda (who is an ADF partner herself) has been an independent advocate for ADF partner employment for over 6 years and is passionate about the value of career development to individuals and society. In 2017 she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship from the The Churchill Trust Australia to investigate military spouse employment approaches in the UK, USA and Canada. Her Fellowship report and subsequent activities have been used to inform discussions on ADF spouse/partner employment with federal and state government departments and bodies, non profit organisations and professional associations.  In addition to a Graduate Certificate in Career Development Amanda holds a Master of Studies and a Bachelor of Science (Hons). She is a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) and the current Divisional President of the CDAA ACT/NT Division. In 2019 Amanda was awarded the CDAA Award for Excellence in Policy (Individual) for her work on military partner career development. She currently resides in Canberra.
