Renee O'Donnell

Monash University

Dr Renee O'Donnell is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Monash University, within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Her research interests are primarily focused on understanding how fostering the implementation of community-based interventions can improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of Australia’s most marginalised and disadvantaged groups, including: young women at risk of child removal, persons with severe mental illness, and young people living in, and transitioning from, out-of-home care. As an early career researcher, Dr O’Donnell has an emerging track record in research, particularly in health and social care improvement and implementation science in disadvantaged populations. Dr O’Donnell’s greatest research achievements have resulted from her ability to effectively engage with industry partners and community service organisations in the development and delivery of evaluation research.
