Suzanne Vassallo

Australian Institute of Family Studies

Suzanne is a Research Fellow working within the Longitudinal and Lifecourse Studies team at the Australian Institute of Family Studies. She has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology.

Suzanne has considerable expertise in longitudinal research, having been involved in the development, implementation and/or analysis of a number of longitudinal studies over the past 19 years. These include the Australian Temperament Project (ATP), Growing Up in Australia: the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children (LSAC), and Family Pathways: the Longitudinal Study of Separated Families. From 2008 to 2012, Suzanne was the project manager for the ATP.

A major focus of Suzanne’s research has been on the development of risk-taking behaviours and adjustment difficulties among young people, with a particular focus on antisocial behaviour and risky driving.
