Dr Karen McLean is a behavioural/developmental paediatrician and researcher who leads the multidisciplinary Pathway to Good Health clinic at the Royal Children's Hospital, providing comprehensive health assessments to children who have entered out-of-home care. Her doctoral research explored how children entering out-of-home care in Victoria have their health needs assessed and addressed, identifying barriers to timely routine healthcare and potential system improvements.
